Back in the simple days, when I went to PCC, my friend and I would take the a monthly trip to a small joint called Luigi Ortegas. It's a pretty crammed place, cluttered with random novelty decorations and a very extensive menu of both Italian and Tex Mex. We always chipped in and split an order of nachos; which are sublime! We've made it a tradition to take excursions there every so often to dine in the glory of cheesy salsa drenched chips, and relish every bite. Good times :)
Over the summer I made my way over to the Mitsuwa(Japanese market) and 85C (bakery). When entering the market you are faced with a choice. Going one direction will lead you to the market and bakery and the other will take you to the food court and the oh, so AWESOME RAMEN! Or you can walk by the aroma of the food (which may be hard) and venture into the shopping area where you can buy plushies and movies. Before you stand there saying what the random?!? Take time to appreciate the convenience of this in which you can get dinner and a movie in the same place. I sure did.
85C, as many of you know, is an orgasm in your mouth.I LOVE Asian pastries because they are not too sweet and above that they come in an awesome array of flavors including savory; all at reasonable prices. I had very little self control and splurged here. Next time I go though I am definitely going to try there signature salted coffee with a squid ink bun (sounds pretty darn good!)
Currently obsessed with: Currently obsessed with: FOOD and FINALLY starting my blogging again. ><
A very dear friend of mine recently took a trip to China and Taiwan. She was constantly updating us with pictures of her trip especially the many food endeavors she experienced there. Food is a cultural pedestal which brings people together with a sense of fellowship and belonging . (And my best friend!). Which is why, more often than not, you can’t live without it! NOM NOM!
These are some pictures of the incredible food she had. :)
YAAA FOOD BLOGGING! Everyone else is doing it I might as well start one too. This blog will provide scintillating posts on places to see and indulge in gluttonous festivites, complete with pics ^_^.
If you need to find an extensive selection of organic, vegan, or exotic edibles, Whole Foods is the place to go!
